It actually did. Marketing 101. One for Nyanza and it’s environs and one for the rest of the country.

Very interesting these guys know how to make money.

and the peasants swallow hook line and sinker! so pathetic !

newspaper headlines are usually regional

Kuna tule tu stars wanawekaga next to the date hapo front page. I hear those are the ones which denote what edition you are reading. These things have been happening all along.

Unfortunately not many ktalkers were weaned on newspapers like some of us. 1 star denotes first edition, 2 stars is the second edition and 3 stars is the third edition which is usally released very late (towards morning). Headlines are usually regionally determined. Makes no economic sense to have a CORD headline on a Muranga bound paper.

you guys are being very shallow…ati news are different for regions, the headlines yes but what would they gain in keeping people in the dark when there is nation radio, ntv, and a website.
…or are there regional stations too so some people won’t know what others do?

You will not sell a single paper in kiambu county that enhances odm profile or vice versa in Kisum county. It is what it is !

NMG has always done this, you buy a newspaper in Nairobi at say midnight and board a bus to Kisumu or Mombasa, when you arrive there you find the newspaper with a variation of news content from the one you bought in Nairobi.
