There’s a birrionaire I know who set up a wholesale shop for his brother. Pumped 3 milli into the venture. Within a year, the brother had “eaten” the wholesale.
Next was a hotel. The brother ate the hotel. Next was a mat, that too was eaten. Finally, birrionaire said “aaaah, poterea bari!!” and has never given a shit about his bro since. The bro nowadays spends time in chang’aa dens, kazi ni kubebea watu mizigo ndio apate kafinje. Mark you, he was the one who was approaching his brother with all these business ideas, it’s not like birrionaire forced him to do businesses he wasn’t interested in.
I’m not saying that’s what happened with Kibaki and his brother, but we’ve only heard one side of the story.

Yep, I’ve learnt never to judge such people. Kwetu we have family members tumejaribu kusaidia tumeshindwa. Nigga goes and gets second wives and expects the rest of the family to raise his kids. Looking inside from outside you’d think we have neglected them but the truth is they expect handouts and go as far as badmouthing you ukikataa kuwapatia pesa.

Let me share my story,saa zingine mabro wengine hawawezi saidika. I have a younger bro who I had been helping pay the bills since december 2016.

So he kept ranting that I was priveledged since I had set foot in university mind you I have never been employed with reference to my field of study and even without employment I managed to set up a biz for mom.

Kila wiki he used to come for handouts na nikimpea kazi ni PS tu.I used to pay his rent every month and give hime an upkeep fee until April I spoke with my family(mom and siz) and I decided to put up a biz of his choice ndio ajitegemee,

Nikamwambia atafute location which he did and mimi huyo I injected capital na nikamlipia rent ya 2 months ya nyumba ya kazi na yake.

Biz ikaanguka may nikaamsha tena. It didnt go long before he came to me again and told me that anataka kuanza biz ingine ile ya wakanyama by the way that biz has alot of returns,nikiwa colle long holiday I used to sell mitura and it is a very profitable business.

I swallowed a lumpvand financed everything again by buying everything from scratch,mind you huu wakati wowote nyumba yake nalipa. Akaendelea na kazi and September akaja kwangu tena kuomba pesa nikajam.

Let me tell you what pained me the most is that he had sold the items I had bought for him,he was not paying rent and had arrears since june.

Hiyo siku nyingine nilikuamka kupata matress kwa mlango na jamaa hayuko.

Akanipigia akanishow nimpe pesa ya kwenda shags nikakataa,long story short saa hii yuko ocha sijui vile alifika anapalilia huko akichunga ngombe.

One thing that I find extremely annoying is the sense of entitlement that some family members develop once you start helping them. They just laze around and expect you to take care of all their needs.
