diagnosis app/software

Hi people,I recently got an ELM327 adaptor for diagnosis,which would be the best app/software to use for diagnosis? The adaptor uses bluetooth connection .I would appreciate advice on Android,Windows or IOS…

Torque lite iko basic…but works with Android

Na kama unataka kutumia kwa Toyota ya JDM huna bahati…wanatumia MOBD which wont work with the Chinese ELM327

@1776 Toyota use the proprietary MOBD protocol for the Japanese market (Where we primarily get our “new-used” units). However in USA and Europe legistlation forced them to use the more standard OBDII protocols.
With a-bit of tinkering you can get the ELM327 to work on the MOBD but not a guarantee. Also at best you will only get to read the generic codes but not the real diagnostic stuff.

Thanks,will tafuta apps on torrent to use on PC,also it came with a CD,will have to get a Bluetooth dongle to try out

@ Macho, get the torque pro app and you will be sorted. There is a provision to modify the headers to enable the ELM327 scan more protocols
