To me it was just conflicting… How can the bad guy be the good guy… I just could not… gave up on it

The plot was woven in a way that you couldn’t judge Dexter as a bad guy since his callous alter ego was created by his dad and cemented when the mom was murdered in his presence as a toddler. Every murder he commits is for the good unless he is in great danger. Comparing this TV masterpiece with 24 is an insult to connoisseurs like me.

That’s what made it even more entertaining coz it was a deviation from the “norm”. 24 was gud but CTU shouldered “everything” on Jack which made it predictable…Prison Break was my cup of tea…

24 ranks as the most useless thing I ever watched on TV. Very predictable like @uwesmake and his signed Gilbeys. Bauer always won.

Yeah, the only twist which makes it interesting’ it was Dexter who had the last say, he put her out of the misery and pain, she was the only person Dexter could love.

It did a perfect downward curve right at the middle of the series. I stayed on because I like the scenery of Miami and I like pretending I’m on holiday on a yacht with a linen shirt and no job and a big house and Cuban house servants and bacon for EVERY SINGLE BREAKFAST accompanied by colorful fruit cocktails forever!
They had good sets.

It left me sad when it ended. It was so superb
Dexter is definitely one of the best shows ever made. I loved it so much I could go to cyber and wait for 2 hours just so that 1 episode can download. It was interesting to learn that Dexter and the chic who played his sister were a married couple in real life. I watched all 8 seasons and together with CSI Miami they made me really like Miami which I have to visit before I die (hopefully). The cast for the show was awesome and I had serious hard on for Dexter’s house help who took care of his boy after the wife was killed.
