There are these ATM machines that have two slots, one for withdrawal the other for deposits. Has anyone ever deposited through such, what’s the process, amount limits and how long do you wait for the balance to reflect in your account?
Once you request for atm deposit, an envelope is handed to you, empty the notes inside except coins plus the receipt print out, seal the envelope, insert into atm, reflection on account takes between half a day to a day

3.Select deposit
4.Enter amount
5 An envelope will come out
6 Insert your money
7You may or may not chose to insert deposit slip.
8.Seal envelope
9.Place envelope in slot
10.Wait for receipt
11.Do you want to perform another transaction? No or Yes?
12. Press No and wait for your ATM
13. Walk out
14.Wait for a day for the tellers to credit your account

Can the slot accept a bundle of say 50k in 100s 200s 500s and some thousands and its a bit thick

Read somewhere that the ATM withdrawal is capped partly because there’s only so much cash that the rollers inside the slot can compress and push out. Think the same would apply to deposits via the same
Assuming its a kawaida mail size envelope, not sure the size
Deposits depend on the size of the envelope, but u can use multiple envelopes if you have bulk cash

It became obsolete the moment Safaricom enabled transfer of funds from M-pesa straight to one’s bank account.

why do you need to deposit via atm na bank agents wameejaa uku inje.I used to deposit via atm on sundays back in colle pale equity many yrs ago.Iyo kitu imepitwa na wakati move with time.
