I see it coming on when driving under 2000 rpm even at high gear

Eco ya gear lights up when you are driving at optimum rpms.always ensure itā€™s green if not then you should either gear up or gear down

[ATTACH=full]32258[/ATTACH] What does this one mean? Keeps coming on and off. One mechanic told me its something to do with transmission fluid, nikamwaga na kuweka ingine. Another one said ni mafuta ya brakes, i replaced.

This is check light for Catalytic Converter for exhaust gases. By the way you have a daft mechanic.

This means that the car is operating optimally, and thus is in economy mode. You use less fuel when in economy mode.

Sawa. Harmful exhaust gases huwa zinaharibu ozone layer. As a regulation car manufacturers are required by law to limit emission of harmful exhaust gases. Sasa what they do kwa exhaust pipe wanafit hiyo ā€˜mtungiā€™ that has stuff inside that looks like charcoal that helps in reducing those harmful gases.

Before gases pass through, temp and pressure is measured before and after passing through the ā€˜mtungiā€™ using oxygen sensors.

Kama kuna shida kwa sytem from readings from the sensors, the computer will send a warning light kwa dashboard so that it can be fixed.

Kwani ni kama exhaust kutoboka? Kuna wakati ilukua imekatika lakini ikachomwa. I havent noticed power loss or abnormal consumption. I get 16kms. Ni manual.
