DAR ES SALAAM, Tanzania — July 30, 2025
As anticipation builds for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) to be held in Tanzania, the Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Hon. Albert Chalamila, has announced a major logistics initiative aimed at rallying mass support for the national team, Taifa Stars.

Speaking during a press briefing held in Dar es Salaam, Chalamila revealed that 100 buses per district across the region have been arranged, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Sports, to transport fans to Benjamin Mkapa Stadium during CHAN matches.

“District Commissioners will be in charge of organizing all transportation logistics to ensure fans arrive safely and return home with ease,” he stated.
