So man to man what fun activities do you do with your dad the age difference is making it hard for me to figure some out

When I was 19 my maternal grandpa was 71…stori tu ndio alikua ananipigia…no fun activities.
My paternal grandpa naye was around 75…we would head to our local called " uncle sam" tunachapa tusker 2 kila jioni time niko village

You can start with just taking a walk together. And you trying to get from him important stuff he has learnt in said 70 years.
I used to give my grandpa a walk. I am sure he appreciated someone taking him out of the house. With my dad, we will meet, have tea and maybe go visit a rela or two. Or if I have a project/ prospect will meet and visit for ideas.
It depends on where you live. If in a city you can visit museums and archives. These places will spark memories that could lead him to tell you many things you don’t know. In Nairobi you can visit the national park, giraffe park, or the ostrich farm. You can also attend age-free festivals together. If you are into plays you can go watch a performace at the National Theatre. If you are involved in sports you could ask him to accompany you to watch a game, or to watch you play, etc. You could also show him a thing or two on how to operate some modern gadgets.
If you are upcountry you may accompany and assist him to do his farm projects, help with animals, repair a fence, fix a shed, paint a wall, etc., visit his friends, or go to church, or whatever other things he loves to do.

Kwa hivyo wewe bado uko high school? Pigeni walks in the evening mpaka Kwa shopping centre, mnakunywa kasupu na mutura. Weekend mnaenda gardening ama kuona game za futa. So much.

Jaribu road trips, kisha pia miradi ya kuangalia shamba na kupanda vitu. Mtaskizana sana na wazee wa huo umri , ukitia makini kumpa nafasi ya kuwa mwelekezi sio kumpa Masharti. Mwanaume umri wowote wa kimu starehe ni kuzurura, kuona vitu vipya, kupanua akili na mawazo kupumua hewa safi na kubugia chakula kizuri.

I finished my undergraduate nikiwa 24…yeye alimaliza masters akiwa 22 and PhD akiwa 26!..sio kila mtu alizaliwa na shida kama mimi na wewe:D
