Now that death has knocked some sense ( or not) what happens in a situation where a leading presidential candidate dies say a month to an election and there isn’t time for a party to prop one up and popularize a replacement. Does it become an automatic walk over for the opponent?
By law i dont know. But assume Election will proceed as planned. Thats an act of nature, and there are still other candidates.
