Are they paid that high back home or how desperately do we need them?
They better be able to eliminate all illnesses in the country within a month.
Meanwhile the tax man is hanging us over here.
“Turkana power line halt signals high bills”
Are you fucking kidding me! This month nimeslapiwa na bill ya 5k (from 2k in prev. months) this news is just depressing…
I wonder what the long term plan is for cost of power? Hivi karibuni running a generator might just be cheaper.
Huyo Gertrude Wambui naweza mpata wapi pia mimi nimpime pressure?
Nope, let’s await CS statement.
Anatu sefisha mecho kweli. :D:D:D
Nataka mtu ainue mkono aseme ni wspi daktari wa kenya ni maskini. Hawa watu humaliza university wakiwa na mahali ya kuenda. wana pesa sana.
I think Kenyan doctors need to reflect on this. This government is obviously making a statement about the importance of good healthcare for its citizens. The next government is unlikely to find a single Kenyan doctor in the public service who looks at his job in the same light as the previous ones. Loyalty to country and flag is not about one’s nationality.
Our leaders of yester years rallied the common mwananchi towards nation building by instilling a sense of belonging, a spirit of pride, the love for flag and nation. Obviously many Kenyans no longer see this spirit among the leaders they serve. They see a lot of greed and also they see betrayal.
If the spirit of pride and love for country continues to get eroded, not long before we cannot get anything done right by public servants not only in health sector but also in other sectors. Sooner or later we will have to import even clerks and messengers.
Fake news. Its seems this days this particular githeri media will have a headline news that’s made up from where no Sunlight shines on.

The Kenyan doctors I know do not appear to be rich (maybe they do not like showing off) even those that have several side hustles like teaching and moonlighting.
My fren maybe wanacheza shini. Doctors wana Kakitu mbaya. Ebu fanya investigation uone hizi Chemists, Laboratory, Clinics… uone who owns them. Ni hii watu. Na bado ukitembelea @Luther12 hata before akusalimie unatoa za consultashen ![]()
@Luther12 is the exception and I’m sure they are others. After I read his post of how he performed a C-section with a generator powering life support and his phone as lighting at night, then I know he is dedicated. Imagine that situation, that’s a horror movie.
nipewe conducts za Gertrude Wambui
We should not congratulate a professional he/she does their job. Every professional owes a fiduciary duty to the recipient of his/her services or goods.
