Cremation

Thoughts that come into my mind;:

Why do people waste a whole week meeting up to raise funds (mostly) and arrange how to dispose off a body in the soil where it will def rot.
Na hizo suti na fiatu na flowers hamuninunulii SAA hii? Hiyo chakula yote ya mazishi wekeni bash SAA hii Niko alive n celebrate me. Don’t come to arrange my ‘befitting sendoff’ na ni madeniunawacha kwa boma yangu.

So, nikikufa;
Donate my organs to research institutions
Cremate the rest of the unusable body.

Can you specify this in your will?
Cz I def want to

There is a reason why we call it last respect… Lazima we bury u in ur best outlook

Last respect… I think honoring the memories by celebrating the life is ideal respect. for me donation of organs to those who need it and cremation sounds good if money then should be used to build something that is to help the community of people ie if you were a drunkard they can build a pub in your name so that the fellow drunkards can remember you while drinking :smiley:

Everything in your body is and will be unusable

It depends on what was the cause of your demise if you die from may be an accident almost all your organs can be used for transplant or research

His organs are very useless when alive what can we salvage when he is dead?

funerals are just a way for the bereft to console themselves and reassure themselves that they probably weren’t assholes to you while you were still alive…and to comfort themselves in that they are still alive and you are not, better you than them. all in all i think it is a rather macabre comedy. a sort of final laugh at the futility of your existence and how fleeting and fickle life really is…

Personally, I don’t care how they will treat me when I hit room temperature because dead men tell no tales. When you are a goner, you are a goner.

I chose to ignore your schupidity amid discussion in a very serious thread

Except as manure , for poison envy

I’m with you on this one.
Place I live, you do this when applying for a driving license.
Just a few ticks on a simple form and now when I die, all and any of my organs belong to sirkal!
Hell I even donated my body tissue, (whatever that is!)
I’m still debating whether to donate all of my body to medical sciences but I’d like my kids to and grandkids to have a grave to visit.

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Genesis:2:7

Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
Ecclesiastes:12:7
