“Look, when a voter votes on a Dominion machine, they fill out a ballot on a touch screen,” Mr Steel said. “They are given a printed copy which they then give to a local election official for safekeeping.”
So in short you vote on a screen and you are given a paper receipt. But you don’t take this receipt home for safekeeping instead you give it to the election official for safekeeping. :D:D:D
In ordinary Kenyan elections the receipt you get is the silver nitrate ink on your finger as proof that you voted and as a deterrent against vote fraud.
If push came to shove and a Kenyan candidate demanded that all the voters in a certain polling station come back for a confirmation such that your name is ticked against the voter register then that receipt on your finger can definitely help alot.
This is assuming that the digital biometric data collected last time, has been hacked into and messed with as is the case with the U.S.
The candidate can reverse back to the indelible finger ink and the manual voter register. This is at the very extreme.
In the American case they should print two receipts like in a hardware store. Ile ya carbon copy hapo chini.
Moja wabaki nayo, the main one. The other one ujiwekee just in case of bullshit like this here in Georgia. If they don’t paint your finger with the special silver nitrate election ink then they should give you a form of proof in this case a copy of the ballot as proof that you voted. As things stand Americans look like a joke… people voting four times…people receiving 3 or 4 ballots… it’s a fucking joke. Zero proof to reverse back to…
