As our Gio regroup and strategise on his next move, we don’t want our taste buds to suffer due to his absence. I therefore hold brief for him and today we are making creamy mushrooms with brown rice. Its an excellent meal for vegeterians too. Ingredients: Mushrooms, 1 large tomato, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, salt, cream (maybe double or single cream) and brown rice ( u can use white rice). Method: Dice the mushrooms and the tomatoes. Put the vegetable oil in a cooking pot and add the chopped tomatoes. Allow the tomatoes to cook until you see a puree and add the diced mushrooms. Add some salt to taste and Let them cook until the mushrooms are well done then add the cream. Allow them to simmer for 5 minutes or until the cream thickens. Cook the rice as usual. You can also make a salad to go with tho its not necessary as mushrooms are vegetables. The mushrooms takes 10 minutes to prepare. Quickest meal you can ever make.

Hey @Nananimpa how comes food haina onion? Hujumaaaa
Next time, instead of boiling the tomatoes until they puree, you can put them in hot water until the skin softens. You can the peel and mash and adds colour to food if you don’t want to use tomato paste.
Also, get some chicken strips, pan fry them until golden brown then add to the mushroom.
Also, since the food looks monochromatic, why not try a different colour for the rice, say black rice?
Also, if you have the time, or energy, or equipment, beat up one egg yolk proper. Add a little vinegar then add corn oil to make mayonnaise then add ketchup to improve flavour and also give a different colour.
Also… Lemme simmer down. I’ve said enough
:D:eek::D:D:D:D:D Haki ya mungu hii kijiji! Thats a good one!
Onion would distort the creamy taste.
Enough for me, I bulk up very fast therefore I control my food intake.

To color the rice (only white one) you also can add some saffron - looks nice with the mixed salad
