Hi villagers i know for most of you its a slow sunday and majority are nursing hangovers but dont forget a chapter a day keeps the devil away…Anyway back to the topic i happened to call my gas supplier and order and apparently my brand haikuwa so he bought me ingine calling itself midgas nikapata ni ya upuzi tu so my question is which is the best brand and how many kgs should the 6kg and 12kg cylinders weigh when full?..
Buy from total but only buy from the licensed petrol stations. Those sold in estates are not revalidated and are therefore dangerous. Furthermore should anything go wrong you have a better chance in court if you procured from a licensed distributor that’s why they are less likely to engage in dishonest behaviour
Call customer care of 3 or so companies, that will give u an average

If you look at the side of the cylinder there are figures stamped hapo. Tare weight is the weight of the empty cylinder halafu hiyo ingine ni total weight plus ya gas. e.g. for 6kg cylinder the tare weight is usually around 6-8kg. So total weight ranges from 12 to 14kg but it could be higher or lower since some cylinders are really heavy. Apply the same principle to other cylinder sizes
Hamia my apartments,i supply my tenants with free biogas
That midgas is crap when connected it to the buner it was producing half flame …yani the burner was burning half hizo shimo zingine were just producing gas na attempts to increase the flame resulted to gas kuzima …hio ni ya kuchoma mtu kwa hao…
Am suffering from a disease called peasantriosis rent ya apartments siwezi kwa sasa
Check your air inlet Knob. Hiyo ndio inaweza kuwa na issue.
Midgas are relatively new to the game. I heard that they’ve been cutting corners in the quality of cylinders but the issue may not be the brand. If you bought from these estate resellers sometimes they’ll take a bunch of different cylinders and refill themselves. To make up the weight wata jaza kiasi na hewa. Since air is lighter than lpg it will rise to the top hence when you turn on the gas haitawaka at all for some seconds or itawaka vile umedescribe
It could also be as simple as @Niititini has put it
Nunua SafeGas. The cylinder is transparent.
Burner yako ni mbovu
Some guy bought from total and it was overweight inawashwa hawaki.
Gas ni gas I use any.
There’re licensed commercial refillers for any brand kama ile kampuni ya babu rao.
Another possibility is that ilijazwa sana na lpg so when you turn it on there is insufficient oxygen for proper combustion. This is also dangerous. @old monk did your friend buy it from a licensed filling station? Anything is possible but for safety i can only recommend things bought from petrol station since the cylinders are revalidated regularly so less chance of an explosion
It seems the cylinder has some air, probably because it wasn’t purged properly. Let it burn for a while, flame will improve.
Infact i think this was the case because the mtungi was heavier and then again i took it from an estate dealer and just to be sure i took my neighbours burner and it behaved the same…
I interchanged with my neighbour whose using a different brand just to be sure and my burner is just fine …
Total Petrol Station the owners of Totalgaz lpg cylinders ilibidi arudishe ipimwe itolewe hadi 6kgs.
