In this Sharon Otieno’s murder, were there other women involved? The multiple stabbings indicated rage. Normally an assassin is in it for the money and killing would be quick and efficient, typically a cold business execution. Assassins tend not to add in too much emotion to their job.
However the stabbings in this murder were multiple and more so targeted at the baby. Who stood to lose if the baby was born? Perhaps the police should begin asking those questions? Rage would indicate a jealous lover (either a man or woman but in most of these cases historically a large proportion has always been women). This murder was full of brutality, revenge and bitterness.
Attack on the child was personal and whoever did the stabbing was aware that the pregnancy was a threat to a relationship. Perhaps the end of one. There is another person involved with either of the two (Obado and Sharon). Wives and lovers begin to look very suspicious at this point. You may be surprised to find that Obado is actually innocent.
I may be watching too much of CSI on TV but this scenario is starting to look plausible

If you want to plant a conspiracy, do not start with your most stupid piece of ‘logic’. I stopped there.

You have a genuine point. Men are known to have sympathy to babies. Constant stabbing especially on the baby had more to say. .

So is this the new defense strategy for Gov. Obado?
Is he pointing fingers at his wife now?
Is he fingering her now?

This new angle you’ve introduced, who are you working for?

Men have been known to have carnal knowledge of babies.
That postulation, that a man could not have committed that act because men are known to sympathise with babies , has no real foundation on the truth.
I’m out.
Obado pestered Sharon for months to abort his baby, and she milked him for all he’s worth, getting money and air tickets but just forgetting to abort.
Ultimately, when it would have been medically risky to remove the foetus, she decided to go for the grand prize: pay me or I talk. That journalist probably goaded the daft slay queen along, dreaming of a fat pay-off or a scoop.
The eagerness with which they sought to ‘meet’ the governor that fateful night made them blind to danger. The rest is history.
Obado will throw his PA under the train if worse comes to worst. He’s already launched a PR campaign to cast himself as the ‘family-man’ victim.
