Hi,
Someone conned me around ksh 150,000. I informed the police he was arrested and we wrote an agreement that he is going to pay but failed to honor the agreement. I later learnt that he is an experienced conman. Does anyone think I can get justice through the judicial system and what are the do’s and donts in this case?

Ni izi biashara za kwenda China. Jamaa alitafuta ubeshte kwangu akajifanya rafiki. Akanichorea venye naweza join biashara yake ya importing things from China. Akaniiitisha doh za kuprepare travel documents. Nikatangenezewa vitu fake kaa cjui, alafu akaleta travel agent bandia wa kubook flight. Nikalipa only to realise during the travel day everything was fake. I have mpesa messages showing the transactions. I had him arrested by he managed to convince me that he will refund me within a week but I was very stupid, I did not know that he just wanted to get out of police cell. I am planning to reopen the case and take it to court. Anyone with an idea of what I can expect through the court?
