Eric Mandala Kinzenga, famous Congolese businessman, arrested in Madrid with 200 kilos of cocaine: a crackdown by the DEA and Udyco

The Congolese patron and businessman, was arrested in possession of 200 kilos of cocaine hidden in a van parked in the parking lot of a shopping center. The cargo, coming from Ecuador and transiting through the port of Algeciras, was destined for Morocco.

The operation, carried out by the DEA and Udyco, follows an investigation lasting several months launched in August 2024. Mandala, already under surveillance, was arrested in the company of a Colombian woman, in possession of more than $50,000 in cash. In 2020, he acquired a sumptuous apartment at the Burj Khalifa for 1.85 million euros.

He is now spending his second night in prison in Madrid, while investigations continue.
