Be ware of Con men!!!
Hi guys. You may receive a call from one named
Daniel or Kimeu, or whatever other name they
may use telling you that they are transporting
food stuffs for WFP from Msa To Nairobi. They
will then ask you to connect them with somebody
whom you know to own a few lorries, preferably
10t and15t ones. They are claiming to pay 7k
per ton and that they want three lorries to be
doing 3 trips per week for 4 months. They’ll also
promise to pay u-as the middle man, 500 per ton
for connecting them.
This is a pure con trap! Do not send any Lorries
to them nor ask any of your friends to do that.
What they will do is that once the lorries have
arrived to the port of Msa, they’ll cunningly
covince you to send them about 40k, an amount
paid as yearly charges for access to the port for
one Calender year. After you wire the money,
their Airtel mobile numbers will go offline.
They conned one of my friend yesterday.
Please dont send your lorries/cars or Money to
anyone you donno!

Being a transporter myself, if anyone calls me with that offer of 7k per tonne from mombasa to nairobi i’ll obviously know ni conman. Normal rate is ksh3500.
