computer best specs

okay nauliza mimi hapa kama NV kabla nikae pale…-----> specs gani kwa comp nafaa nicheki…i want to buy a computer and a duplicator for a movie shop?? any shop in Town(Nai) enye iko na the best on budget n good comps n accessories msee anishow… asanteni wanakijiji wacha sa niende niketi

what’s your other handle please?

Ha ha that’s a funny statement but kwa kusema ukweli what’s your other handle ?

Hilo ni swali ngumu sana NV. First, any decent computer should be good enough for your intended use, even a PII can do the job. However, I am sure you would want to do a few other things with the computer. As such, I would recommend that you go for a used, branded PIV and above that fits your budget. Just one caveat;don’t buy from stalls. Look for a big supplier who can offer a believable warranty.

Saidien yeye ndio apate riziki…don’t forget how young fellas are killed as thieves, he want genuine monies

Asus x555 series

@Bonnie24 you will need about 11k,uende electronic house along luthuli avenue,2nd floor, a bit on your left utaona shop imepangwa ma CPU ya shelves, ambia hao jamaa unataka kitu iko na 2GB RAM na ikue dual Core. NB,hazikujangi na windows, hio utajiekea,i’d suggest windows 7 Ulitimate

2GB ram to run a 64Bit OS, how long will it take before it tanks

hapa sijakuelewa…

asanti san

@kasaman thank yu for noticing…kazi nyingi imekuwa ya wazee bana…sisi kama vijana tunaumia

@Afro kuna enye nimeambiwa ati 6gb ram 500gb duo core…na iko na tft na kadhalika. @16k is it a good gamble

he should get atleast 4GB ram if he is going to run a 64bit OS, otherwise after he loads a couple of applications the ram will start maxing out and the system will become very slow because it will be constantly paging.

but then again, maybe am just used to super machines

notice that with even that much ram and processor speed, its still paging some threads

now try to imagine how much bigger the paged pool would be on a 2GB powered by a 64bit os running constantly, and keep in mind he sounds like he is trying to manage huge file streams

whats the harddisk RPM?

i thought skuizi wale wasee huuza kwa stall n poa?? do yu have any supplier yu know ivi ama

when i consider the intended purpose for the computer, mimi noana 2GB RAM,Dual core,80GB Hard disk na OS ya 32bit is just good enough. anything above that only becomes necessary if unafanya graphics design, video editing and creating animations or such things on a professional level.

u don’t necessarily need a monster pc for a movie shop 2 hp core i3 or even a core2 duo desktop (not laptop) will do just fine .
kile unahitaji ya maana ni duplicator kama mbili ivi depending on flow of your customers. efficiency is the key point here.
and lastly a good power backup system zile za juakali zinaunganishwa na battery za lorry

and in most cases u dont even require a pc if u choose to buy already prepared movies in cd (which is easier and less tiring than downloading them)
duplicators work independently without pc. just buy the master copy movie na kuipiga photocopy

Depending on where your shop is located you need start looking beyond burning dvds kijana. Guys are getting sick of buying dvds and having them clutter the house. Many guys will just come buy the movies/series in digital format.
So while a duplicator is still usefull, look to getting a storage space. Terabytes and terabytes of storage space

Wapi maeza nunua hizo digital format…CD bag yangu imejaa na bibi anazusha na clutter nyumba na meffi

Any place unabuy movie. Enda tu na flash ama external hdd. If your tv is smart or even your dvd player may play some video files. A lot of guys watch stuff on their comps so there is really no use for getting them on dvd.
