Watching the latest Coca Cola advert got me thinking.
These guys are good at what they do and release catchy adverts just before major events e.g world cup or major holidays celebrated worldwide e.g Christmas.
How many Coke adverts can you remember and which one is your favorite. (Age allowance factored in)

They used to air it around xmas time.
Ile ya majina where a doggy named Bobby was restless till he found his name.
There was a localized version with Bobby being Simba.

coca cola was discovered by accident. John Pemberton the chemist inventor of Coca Cola discovered the beverage whilst trying to figure out a new way to get high.
He had a morphine addiction acquired after years of abusing morphine or opium, and he first used it as pain relief for an injury he acquired during the American civil war. He decided to mess around with Coca leaves the prime ingredient for cocaine and instead came up with the most “refreshing drink” on earth; a mix of cocaine, wine and Kola nut which he called Pemberton’s French wine cola. In those days cocaine was legal that was before black slaves were accussed of getting high on it and raping white women. Pemberton was also a slave owner.
Pemberton’s cola became a huge a hit and he kept the secret ingredient hidden for many years. It was especially popular with tired housewives who would get an instant buzz after a long day cleaning.
Unfortunately Pemberton still died a penniless drug addict. Today the secret ingredient still remains a secret.
The dumb chic who celebrates wildly ‘we’ve won, we’ve won’ only for the calm dude next to her to remark ‘it’s only halftime’.
The expression the chic’s face turned to always left me chuckling.

The rest is an excuse.
it’s not like they inflate. they spend on making the best ads and placing them in optimal locations. at the end the cost per unit sold is minimal considering their volumes.
