What do you know that the market doesn’t? Ama why are you buying KQ shares for?

Simple when the angel investor comes they will want a controlling share after buying stake ya KLM…since the government won’t cede its stake…watanunia from the stock market…I forget whys this term is called kwa biashara hii baridi ya Nairobi imeingia akili

Which Angel investor will buy KQ considering the massive financial hole they are in?

Most probably a private equity firm…not those airlines that people think…I named it kwa hio thread sitaki kuitaja hapa tena

i aint into shares but all factors held constant.
kq will never be let to sink to obvillion( hata kama walifuta @Okiya job ama wakamnyima u- MD).
so as grace is speculating (i dont know how much inside info she might be having -she is a karen birrionaress after all).
if you are are true risk taker/ enterprenuer a stake in kq is worthy.
i will check my sources stand on the issue and come back to comment

Of course KQ cannot collapse.
Of course the share price will increase someday.
But mimi I look at time value of money.
Hiyo time umeweka pesa KQ in anticipation a strategic investor will come in, mimi I will have made much more from sure counters like KCB.
Ask your sources how much the 777 were leased for na utajua izo shares ni moto ya kuotea mbali

For me it’s for the long haul…I want to be elected Kwa board ya KQ when I’m 56 or therebouts so hii mambo ya kuwa na shares mingi inasaidia…So my stake will be increasing steadily as the share price goes down…kuna privilages as kuwa a recognized shareholder one day mtaniona huku

Sioni ukitoboa. One government vote is enough to decide who sits on the Board.

My stand has always that a portion of management pay should go to buying co shares in a vesting schedule. Even in small companies, management has a vesting schedule that investors insist on so you dont bail on the co and have personal interest in the co doing well

I will be aligned to the Government then…1st female chairperson of KQ heheheehehe

from my limited biz knowledge i dont think it is as long as you are implying furthermore you can see her intrests are vested.
i hear “cartels” wanted a change of guard/complete overhaul at kq. so its “collapse” is orchestrated.
news doing rounds in the elite’s circles indicate that it will be on its feet sooner than we anticipate. DONT ASK ME HOW,BECAUSE THEIR BOOKS INDICATE TEN YEars of struggle

One needs to have a discussion with someone who is a member of Kapla ndio ujue ukweli wa mambo. What management says is always sugar coated.

so @Okiya you think(depending on the info on your desk) how many years should we expect the slump at KQ to last

Tough decisions have to be made. Jobs losses. salary cuts. Each contract KQ has entered into needs to be scrutinised with a fine tooth comb to analyse whether there was value for money. Anything less than that the slump will continue to till the nth year. But woe unto them because other airlines have smelt blood. Rwandair is looking into expanding its African routes ( KQ’s stronghold). Na btw mimi si former/prospective employee wa KQ as you think. The only relationship I have with them is my gold membership.
