When you say on the rocks, what do you really mean?

1. Take an empty glass tumbler
2. Take a few pieces of ice from the fridge and crush to one inch cubes
3. Put three ice cubes in the tumbler
4. Pour whiskey from the bottle into the tumbler
5. Shake gently such that whiskey melts some of the ice
6. Enjoy the drink
