Triumph March by Verdi: Liked it since childhood. Did you know Kenya Army March Band used to play these great classics before trash like “tawala kenya tawala, raisi moi moi tawala kenya tawala” assaulted our ears for ages.
Sebastian Bach, Handel
Yes, beautiful pieces. When you get to appreciate classical music it really changes your perception of what music is. Not many people will understand what you are so crazed about though!
I watched a theater performance of Aida and the impression it left on my mind will last a lifetime. Simply awesome.
True great composers of great music have gone out exitance save for a few film composers like Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Alan Menken, Howard show, Gerald Schwartz and a handful of other. Otherwise, there is plenty on cacophony in name of music with a shelf life of raw milk.
It’s good to know that some “strange” humans like @hakimoto, @Mboch Kiburi , @Snowball and others still know that magic. I’m not alone:D
ako wapi @T.Vercetti , niggas are listening to white man music nabaadaye they’ll start stoning the same white man. after 50 years of independence, africans can’t put together their own orchestra .Our music is shit, I bet kuna a nigga now listening to Chinese Classics.

Classical music all the time
He’s among the greats. Just forgot to mention him
It’s true we’ve taken time to do catch-up in numerous fields. But I know we have African composers who have the talent to create genres that can stand the test of time. It is never too late. It takes a commitment that transcends monetary value.
It’s no sin to appreciate artistic beauty, regardless of cultural boundaries. Art, in its broadest sense, has no boundaries, and cultures change and grow. I listen to many songs, including African, Greek, Indian, English, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, just to enjoy them, yet I don’t speak or understand even 0.000000005% of the languages. We can learn good things from other people, and they too can learn from us.
Classical music is what my other half listens to all the time. So I can recognise some of these songs posted here. Thing is he wants our children to embrace this music and not mine…not mine yawa…demands I wear headphones when I am enjoying spitting from my Wiz Khalifa…and the new young internet money rappers.
Anyway great selection.
