Earning the scholarship is easy if you have basic knowledge of networking and information security. I believe I passed the entrance exam with the mother of all hangovers and from my experience its a basic entry level course suited for graduates and junior network engineers.
Cisco certificates are recognised globally and it is a good thing to have on your cv. On the other hand every IT person in Nairobi has a CCNA so papers and actual ability do differ.
If you can get the scholarship then go for it but I wouldn’t advise anyone to spend actual money on this certificate.
