I admire your vast knowledge in matters Religion and to be honest i task myself with being open minded and Resourceful in Religious matters which is why i also have an English translated Quaaran and i read and appreciate it alot.

You can find verses in the Bible that support the idea of generational sin. The Jews were hated in Europe for hundreds of years because they were seen as being collectively responsible for the death of Jesus, despite the fact that they were not personally responsible. If you recall from Exodus, the firstborns of Egypt supposedly died because of one man’s decision to not let some Jews run wild in the desert. That’s not necessarily generational sin, but its an example of how the Christian God punishes children for the sins of the parents - both are from of collective punishment.
And, with respect to witchcraft, there is that great verse that caused much pain and suffering in Europe some hundreds of years back - “Do not suffer a witch to live”. Bear in mind that that’s a direct quote from God in the Bible.
What you’re missing is that, according to the Bible itself, God is unchanging. If God in the old testament punishes people collectively for things that their parents did then Jesus’ sacrifice means nothing.
“For I, the LORD, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.” Malachi(3:6)

It’s clear that God doesn’t punish people for their forefathers sins, everybody is responsible for their own sins.

You missed my point.
If God is unchanging and there are verses where he punishes people for the crimes of their ancestors in the Bible, then isn’t it likely that he does the same thing today? In which case the biashara man who was telling you about generational curses wasn’t wrong.
All sorts of backwards, illogical and contradictory things can be found and defended using the Bible.
I still insist, there’s nothing like generational curses, common sense dictates that an innocent party cannot be punished for another’s sin. God is fair.
Common sense says that, yes. The Bible says otherwise.
And I don’t agree that the Christian God is fair. Have you ever read the book of Job?
In that book, God allows the children of Job to be killed so as to prove a point to Satan.
Hardly fair.
The story of Job is also in the Qur’an. This story should make us question whether all our sincerity and worship for Allah is dependent on His blessings on us.

This story should remind us that we should never make our worship and sincerity toward Allah contingent on our perceived blessings. Allah tests us in many ways and we should, therefore, be steadfast in His worship constantly.
