Christianity vs. Witch Craft and "Generational Curses"...

Was coaxed into going to one of these “Biashara” churches today that always have a scantily dressed Preacher with a beautiful wife by his side!
I have ZERO faith in ALL of these churches /biasharas but i was obliged to attend juu it was a matanga.

i detest these “preachers” who in my opinion would otherwise be Makanga wa jaza jaza if they hadn`t discovered that they actually earn more by peddling bullshit and fear into the same clientele that would board an empty mathree simply because they have such a low self esteem that they just “accept to please!”…

Anyway, this Cunt went on about Generational Curses and all such shit that affects us because we have relatives that are into witch craft nyef ,nyef, nyef…

All these time i am trying to reason rationally with my conscience that as a good product of a Catholic upbringing;
Is this not why Jesus died for me so that i am free of Curses and Sin and that if only by choosing to believe and Trust in his Healing as one who died for All my sins (Generational or Otherwise);
Then in am now Free and will only be judged by my Deeds Only?

What am i missing All You Good People?:

When you have a flock in need and especially feeling vulnerable to spiritual attacks ( that they are made to believe that only their pastors can help with), they are easy to keep, control and manipulate.

Alot of contradictory statements you’ve made, Jesus died for your sins, which you won’t get judged for, but you’ll get judged for your deeds… Now, for one to commit a sin he has to do a deed. Then again, what will happen to the people that died before the advent of Jesus, nobody died for their sins, does that mean they’re destined to go to hell? If yes that would make God an unfair God. Mkristo ambaye ana akili alisome lifuatalo na alisome tena na tena…

"The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him."Ezekiel(18:20)

I admire your vast knowledge in matters Religion and to be honest i task myself with being open minded and Resourceful in Religious matters which is why i also have an English translated Quaaran and i read and appreciate it alot.

But i also have met, lived and worked with Muslims who also share in these Traditional Uchawi Non-sense ( in my opinion) While at the same time being dedicated follwers of Islam!

One Doctor from Sudan who is a true friend of mine shocked me some time back when me and him were casually making a conversatio about how Junguz like to walk their dogs and treat them like children etc…

Kidogo the Doctor ( a respected Surgeon/ Consultant at my local general hospital) and a True practicing Muslim with endless Qualifications shocked me by telling me one day while standing outside his house;…

“this cat coming from my neighbor`s house is just pretending to be a cat! , its actually a Woman Jiini following me since i gave my wife Talaka!”

Me i was left dumpfounded juu i thought that all that Jini shyte was for the illiterate fakaz from Mtwapa or some remote place in Mombasa but kumbe a qualified Paedetrecian in a Whole hospital in a Western Country still bears that kind of mentality?!!!

Ebu please educate me on your take on these as a Muslim.

Shukran.

That’s an oxymoron right there, a Muslim that practices or visits a mchawi to help him immediately leaves the fold of Islam. Jinns exist, the Quran teaches that there are jinns but a majority of them are evil, what are referred to as devils. Some of this waganga and wachawi @jumabekavu and the like use the power of jinns to do things that seem supernatural or paranormal to kawaida human beings.

"And among mankind is he who disputes concerning Allah, without knowledge and follows every rebellious Shaitan (devil) (devoid of each and every kind of good). For him (the devil) it is decreed that whosoever follows him, he will mislead him and will drive him to the torment of the Fire." Qur’an (22:3-4)

MASH-ALLAH!

Dini, uchawi ni upuss.

You can find verses in the Bible that support the idea of generational sin. The Jews were hated in Europe for hundreds of years because they were seen as being collectively responsible for the death of Jesus, despite the fact that they were not personally responsible. If you recall from Exodus, the firstborns of Egypt supposedly died because of one man’s decision to not let some Jews run wild in the desert. That’s not necessarily generational sin, but its an example of how the Christian God punishes children for the sins of the parents - both are from of collective punishment.

And, with respect to witchcraft, there is that great verse that caused much pain and suffering in Europe some hundreds of years back - “Do not suffer a witch to live”. Bear in mind that that’s a direct quote from God in the Bible.

What you’re missing is that, according to the Bible itself, God is unchanging. If God in the old testament punishes people collectively for things that their parents did then Jesus’ sacrifice means nothing.

Stori za kupimiwa dhambi na kilo pelekea watoto. Religion is BS.

Yes God never changes…

“For I, the LORD, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.” Malachi(3:6)

According to the verse I quoted above…

"The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him."Ezekiel(18:20)

It’s clear that God doesn’t punish people for their forefathers sins, everybody is responsible for their own sins.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I’ll respect yours.

The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.

You missed my point.
If God is unchanging and there are verses where he punishes people for the crimes of their ancestors in the Bible, then isn’t it likely that he does the same thing today? In which case the biashara man who was telling you about generational curses wasn’t wrong.

All sorts of backwards, illogical and contradictory things can be found and defended using the Bible.

True generational curses are there

I still insist, there’s nothing like generational curses, common sense dictates that an innocent party cannot be punished for another’s sin. God is fair.

@Kabuda…read also the book of Judges the Israelites would do exactly that and God would punish them to bits…

Common sense says that, yes. The Bible says otherwise.

And I don’t agree that the Christian God is fair. Have you ever read the book of Job?
In that book, God allows the children of Job to be killed so as to prove a point to Satan.
Hardly fair.

The story of Job is also in the Qur’an. This story should make us question whether all our sincerity and worship for Allah is dependent on His blessings on us.

“And remember Our slave Ayyub, when he invoked his Lord (saying): ‘Verily Shaitan has touched me with distress (by ruining my health) and torment (by ruining my wealth)!’ (Allah said to him): “Strike the ground with your foot: This is (a spring of) water to wash in, and a cool and (refreshing) drink.” And We gave him (back) his family, and along with them the like thereof, as a Mercy from Us, and a Reminder for those who understand Qur’an(38:41-43).

This story should remind us that we should never make our worship and sincerity toward Allah contingent on our perceived blessings. Allah tests us in many ways and we should, therefore, be steadfast in His worship constantly.
