Upuzz, kamau afunze mandera
Nefa.
Woriah afunze kwao.
Amesema mtu ajenge kwao
Elders kuwa mpole
Hapa wanakuaga wamemaliza walimu, Riggy G atafanya kazi akiendelea namna hii
In my opinion… I find such a move retrogressive and one sided in favour of the teachers without considering the impact on the pupils. A classic example of bonobo being a bad manager. Mtu akifunza karibu na kwao … hatakuwa anachapa works yake kwanza, showing up to work at 9 ama vile anataka juu pia headmaster ni village mate and childhood friend. Unatoka class to attend to personal errands, stori kwa center, favourism n what not. It makes absolutely no sense as far as the pupils welfare is concerned.
That might be true for Pokot teachers but others take their work seriously.
Let bandits teach bandits
Nikisoma walimu walikuwa wametoe the line Ile mbaya, kuingia ni before eight kutoka ni five with no skipping of lessons in between coz principals and head teachers were bad news to both students and teachers. Shida ni wote saa hii wanangangania Nairobi and surrounding hakuna anataka kurudi info na Kisumo. Mtu akuke kwao ndio atengeneze kwao

Mbona unapiga rustler sweep na stock ya G3?
Great move…
This guy is thick as a brick.
Where are the Cabinet meeting minutes?
I thot Njagathi is in charge of devolution.
This is prone to a challenge in court of law.
True for rustler counties. A teacher will abscond duties for days rustling to obtain cattle for the third wife’s bride price
Hii ni ufala sasa, where is the blueprint to this exercise ? Rigathi Gachagua cannot be allowed to conduct crazy experiments on Kenyans .
the move is positive for families, watoto wasikae mbali na wazazi waanza kuiga tabia za mamboch.
Wah, New one
Rigathi ni fala wafanye hivo pia armed forces basi, cops got families to bond with too
Wrong move.
Kuna neighbour home akona stall ya veges right next to her shule.

Either way you look at it … it’s a retrogressive policy. Aimed at appeasing a certain base without due consideration of the impact and consequences therein. The focus here should be the pupils well-being and advancement first and foremost. I could give little shit since my daughter goes to leading “prestigious” international sch. that does not adhere to local standards or curriculum…so I would care less.
But in all honesty… you put a bonobo within comfort zone, they go all the way and get too comfortable. People from the same village, all teaching at the same village sch, sharing same old ideas, experience’s, cultural heritage etc … how narrow is that. Vernacular will be the order of the day pale staffroom and by extension in class. We be raising a generation of kids limited in their thinking, scope and outlook in life due to lack of diverse input in outside knowledge, exposure, experience, culture and history etc … simply for the political expediency and self preservation of the political class. Who non of their kids, grandkids and great grandchildren will be affected by this rather surreal, selfishly calculated proposal meant at limiting your childrens train of thought, intellectual exposure and diverse thinking.
It’s ironic the most affected are the loudest cheerleaders. How’s a regular DEB going girl taught by folks from her village and tribe, experiencing same difficulties in language constraints supposed to compete with my daughter for instance; who’s exposed to foreign teachers at her ECD level to enhance her vowels and consonants.
