Not stingy, Asians are very good in saving their money. They have a target each year to save for mostly buying apartments or assets back home. Even in the usa Asian immigrants are categorized as good home buyers. Lastly don’t forget they are just lower class workers trying to break into their well to do middle classes back at home.
