On Thursday, China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC) unveiled the first prototype of a new maglev train it hopes will dramatically cut travel times between Shanghai and Beijing. It has surpassed the speeds of some planes that we use in Kenya commercially. I would love to experience this speed on the ground.
Maglev is soon going to be phased out. Trials for the Hyperloop are at advanced stages in Dubai. With vacuum, a Hyperloopwill be more convenient, efficient and faster than any other known machine/car/train/

A hyperloop is a sort of vacuum tube, lets say from mombasa to nairobi. The vacuum is such that friction is very very minimal. A carrier is then placed on the tube and propelled along the vacuumized tube. It reaches speeds of upto 1220 km/hr.
