Better get used to China. Days of United Sodom and their European allies of raping the world are numbered. Everything that the West made in the past, there is a Chinese alternative. EVERYTHING.
Making motorcars is no longer a sophisticated and complex undertaking. If anything one wonders why China is taking too long to penetrate the world scene. Something Japanese have been spitting like toys for the last 50 years.
Profit margins are low. Car manufacturers always need bailouts. The Chinese prefer industries that give birth to super profits, quick money. The more advanced the car , the more it costs to make , the lower the profit margin. Cars take forever to ever become profitable.
And again R&D needs money and Chinese don’t like spending on that thing called R&D they prefer copy pasting and reverse engineering. So they always have to wait for the other guy to make his car so they can steal the design as illustrated above. So they can’t really release original cars because they don’t have them, they have to wait for the other guy to produce his first.
Do you know how much Elon Musk spends on research alone for Tesla?
