Fresh chilli from shags…

Remove the stems.

Boil water and soak them in a pot for 30mins. Keep the pot covered for the duration.

Drain the water and put the chillies in a blender. Add some little water (2tbsp) and blend.

Fry with some little oil.

Switch off after 20mins on low heat, let it cool, pack and refrigerate. Its good for a month.

I like to keep it plain unapata kick ya chilli, inakuwanga fiti sana na mayai.
Kuna chilli ya west africans called pepe- I don’t know how they do it (similar process like yours) but inatokea poa sana

If these are those small chilles, they are hot like hell. Cant really enjoy food with them. Eating and looking for the closest hospital is no fun. They are great though but they need to be made a little mild. Maybe pickled.

Hapo kwa frying, use Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
They do it the same way as has been done as shown by @crasher_18 but the type of Chilli they use is way hotter than the one used here (African Birds Eye - ABE). They use a type known as ‘Scotch Bonnet’ which is also known in Tz as Pilipili Mbuzi. There is a guy in Rwanda who has made alot of money from it making ‘Akabanga Sauce’…
These are not as hot as Scotch Bonnet, now there we are looking at VERY, VERY HOT CHILLI…

siyo fiti ya frying ni best when used cold, I use pork lard ama coconut oil (mbesha ikiwa fiti).
sasa nikitengeneza yuis kutumia hiyo blender, si itakuwa kali sana
