Cheki Maneno - From Cairo To Cape

Today, on day 22, after 3 days of huge distances, the team crossed into Tanzania. They passed Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru before limping down the Rift Valley road near the Ngorogoro Crater. Built up fatigue is taking hold after averaging 280 km per day for 22 days, and it was a tough day.

Tonight they’re camping near Lake Manyara and hoping that an early night brings some fresh perspective and some new legs before 6 am tomorrow!

Do you guys have a blog detailing your trip from Cairo to say Nairobi? that would be the most interesting trip for me. I’ve done south Africa to Kenya by road, and I hope to do the same to Cairo one day.
