From the edges of Ngong Hills (Kona Baridi) to the bottom of the Rift Valley (Lake Magadi) over a stretch of 80km, your bicycle shall take you through Maasai countryside; wild, shrubby and expansive savannah. Spin your wheels across the winding Magadi road to an oasis of cooling swimming pools by the day and warming, therapeutic hot springs for the evening.

Camp the night under the starry African night. Breezy as it will be, enjoy the warmth of the bonfire, sample some Maasai-style barbecue and maybe join in the Maasai dancers’ jubilant jumps. Come morning, trade your two wheels for the millipede of a vehicle (the train) and enjoy a game drive like no other.

Nice road for cyclists although am not one, the road has very few cars and atleast it is tarmacked. In some places you feel like uko wilderness pekee yako with the winding roads

@Mkufuu what date will the event take place, thats the only missing info kwa hiyo story yote. And btw do you know anything about Uvumbuzi club. They used to do the cheki maneno thing sometime back, riding from Nairobi to Magadi and camping there overnight.

you’ll have to sell your bike to raise the 13k …

uuuum wait, i didn’t think that through …

What happens if your bike breaks down and you need to fix it in the middle of nowhere? Is there Uber there?

Event will happen on 7th to 8th of November. Never heard about Uvumbuzi do you have any contacts or links? Siwezi enda hii event it’s nice but way expensive for me.
