Some of you may have heard the legend of checki maneno cruising at 100KPH and say to yourselves…rubbish, that is utter nonsense.

This is for the none believers, the enthusiasts, the upcoming riders and the heroes to be.

Legends live among us…behold their awesomeness.

Some context - These guys went all the way to Sagana, ate some fish, and were back in Nairobi before 4pm.

Today yet another awesome group is riding to Naivasha and back…so mkiona wao, waambiani checki maneno! :slight_smile:

Thats thika road roysambu to githurai, they are achieving those speeds coz they are hiding behind the truck, they are using the trucks slip stream hence using very little energy.
before you try that make sure you know the road very well coz if you hit a pothole with a bike tire at that speed wewe kwisha.
otherwise hii tactic ni ya ma pro peke yake

Kwani mnafikiria emergency brakes za lorry zinakaa aje. They would have had time to respond appropriately. Its not like it would suddenly come to a halt. They seemed keen enough and they had their hands on the brakes at all times

Even a car doing 100 can’t stay that close to a lorry. Alafu jamaa ndio huyo ana multi task akishikilia camcorder na mkono moja? We all know men can’t multi task!
