Checki Maneno: First Experience on Multi Stage Races

Gio ako kwa hio line up.

TDM is my first multi stage race where I have had to really crank the pedal hard over 2days not like when its just a single day event. The criteriums were really fast paced after qualifying for the heats and into the main race, it was gruelling but happy a Kenyan took the win on that. Today was heading for the hills (Kathiani) and it was every man for himself huko, nilijichoma jana and my legs really hurt from straining a lot over the 2 day course and all I could think of was getting back to the hotel and for the suffering to end, btw most guys have given up the competitive side of the tour, can only imagine how brutal it is at grand tour level. There are guys who have dedicated their time fully being professional cyclists and making it on the grand stage and they are proving themselves here esp Sossi and KRD, some ladies wamejitolea na wako huku racing. Tomorrow is 100k+ rolling terrain which I dont know if will finish in one piece given the pace the peloton is pushing or if I will crack, will see how it goes, either way excited to experience how gruelling a tour can be especially when racing. Oh and there are some really cool bikes here, having a problem uploading photos.

That climb was not funny

More pics please.
Thanks for representing kijiji

Noma sana, unaipatia rating ya ngapi kwa suffer meter?

Kathiani is 1600m of climbing think a category 1 climb, would give 3.8 star rating on suffering since you are actually racing and spinning. Mbooni is 1900m of clmbing spread over with a 600m pure climb stage which is today

Niko na hizo picha za bike kunazo ziko na electronic shifting which is the lastest in the game
