I have never experienced an issue similar to this before. It seems that when I plug my phone in, using the USB which is the only charger I have, it actually drains the batter rather than charges it. By all indications the phone is being charged with the battery widgets and icons showing it’s plugged in and charging. Some times it will charge the battery to a certain point and then reverse and start draining it, like last night I charged it to 40% then I went to sleep but when I woke up it was at 33.Nb:-Ilikua kwa charger na stima haikupotea… Any ideas?

had the same problem last month was buying a new charger every two days then realized I was getting counterfeit chargers, the phone could be plugged in the whole night naamka iko 15%, I thought ni battery but even a new battery haikusaidia. I bought a charger from a samsung outlet and it has served me well for close to a month now

chacha ni fek. bought one as well ya kagari yangu kadudu and somehow my phone was charging the car!
got a better one and kutoka karen hadi junction inachapa 50% charge.

Physics,nothing out of the ordinary.
What is the charging rate in terms of out put of the USB compared to the size of your battery?
Do the maths

The charger is the problem. Samsung devices especially are very picky on the output of the charger you use. I notice it when I’m charging my phone from the laptop. Somehow the power output isnt enough for me to use at the same time. If I leave it, itajaa but if I use it at the same time, it discharges faster than its charging thus ends up going off. Same thing happens if I borrow someone’s charger, lazima nitumie ile ya Samsung
