As the batter sets, want to share my 2cents on the above, here is the link for more reading www.businessdailyafrica.com/Corporate-News/Centum-lines-up-Sh510m-funding-for-start-ups/-/539550/3050098/-/t7cb7xz/-/index.html
I think Centum are aligning themselves to be the top tier investor for fledgling startups in the country, eventually in the region and here is why. If you have ever listened to Mworia speak, he speaks highly of Sequia capital, early investors in Google, Apple etc and that is what he is aiming for. Centum foundation started last year I think to get a feel of the kind of startups and industries they are in, and will probably actuvely invest in them this year and follow on. Startup funding is usually trunched and pegged on meeting milestones, and I think startups will graduate from the foundation seed funding to Centum Series A etc as they grow and guess who is the biggest beneficiary with hands in many cookie jars Centum. I think its a brilliant way to position themselves for the future. Just my thoughts.

@admin should seek funding from centum
The problem with startups in Kenya is that they only focus on the Kenyan market. There won’t be enough growth if these startups don’t use the internet to expand to larger markets.
