Celtics vs Golden State Warriors

In sports, age is EVERYTHING.

The final is a classic battle between the outgoing and the incoming.

Celtics are mostly in their mid 20s, while GSW are in their early 30s.

It is an interesting dynamic to watch because both teams are technically at the same level in terms of peak performance, but on different sides of the curve.

Basketballers peak in their late 20s.

Celtics:
Tatum - 24 years

Brown - 25 years

Golden State:
Stephen Curry - 34 years

Klay Thompson - 32 years

Last year’s winner was determined by a single player heroics. Giannis. This year it’s coming down to team performance, bench included. So it’s more of a matchup thing.

Yeah, as much as Luka carried the mavs on his back, the antics were just not enough, Giannis did not fair any better

While I slept, the DUBS did their thing. I was honestly waiting for a game 7

I was surprised to find out that there’s a Glazer who is a part owner of Golden State. Kwani hawa watu have their dirty fingers everywhere?
The Splash Brothers and Igoudala are amazing. But I think for me the real star of the team is Head Coach Steve Kerr. Before hiring Steve Kerr, the Warriors were nothing special. Since hiring Kerr, they’ve been to 6 of the last 8 finals, winning 4! And breaking every record imaginable in the process.

Golden state under Mark Jackson was a very good team. In fact credit him for turning around that team. It’s only that he was too friendly that he was fired. But I agree Kerr is a genius. He took Tatum out of his comfort zone. Tatum suddenly looked like James Harden.
