Uhuru yesterday was talking about the way he cannot wait to see the first female Kenyan president. Waiguru is getting married. So she might be serious about running for president in the future. Somebody probably advised her that it would not go down well for a woman to run for president being single.
Majority of Kenyans are very traditional in their thinking (adults must be married and have children). Even though she might win local contests for MP, governor, senate winning national election to be president is very hard.
Maybe the plan is to have her become the running mate of somebody. Then when Kenyans are used to the idea of a woman being second in command, then she can run on her own.
