The break-up between Gerard Pique and Shakira was one of the most high-profile celebrity stories of 2022, as the footballer left the singer and moved out of their family home.
However, it has now been suggested that Pique may have tried to get back with Shakira after coming to regret his decision.
In fact, the singer’s recent hit, ‘BZRP Music Sessions #53’, hinted at this with the line that said “I’m not coming back to you, not even if you cry or beg me”.

While that line may or may not have been referring to a real attempt by Pique to reconcile their differences, a report from Univision journalist Jordi Martin has added further fuel to this rumour.
He claimed that sources close to Shakira have stated that the footballer decided to end the relationship in April of 2022, but one month after leaving the family home he tried to convince the Colombian to forget everything and to return to normal.
