Like I always say, being Kenyan is a full time job, you always have to be on the look out. Somethings are just beyond us how do we even get to know which petrol station to trust.

These kind of businesses where illegal depots have been allowed to operate have existed for a very long time with the full knowledge of the police who regularly pop in to collect protection money.There are very many recorded instances where police vehicles have been caught on tape entering and leaving such facilities.

I once bought adulterated petrol at Petro Filling Station near Poa Place Eldy while en route to Eldama Ravine. Needless to say, I had to sleep at a friend’s home at Flax because the car stalled. It was 9:00pm.
Had to empty the tank (about 10litres) and replaced all the plugs. Still the car kept on jerking for a whole week. Please keep off Petro gas stations.
