Most kenyans have herd mentality, if a colleague buys a Toyota Premio, they’ll also get a similar car, that’s why almost everybody is getting a Premio, Mark x or Subaru xxx, basically the common cars on the road… what are some of the cars worthy between 0.5 to 1 million that are fuel efficient, reliable and basically sweet rides…but not so common.

The truth is that toyota premio 2008 has better all round quality that all those cars mentioned and is larger than them. But the price (1.5m) is exaggerated for a second hand car.

Not better than some VW like toureg but probably better than renault. I think renault is nissan and its rides on reputation from decades ago. But still premio is much more superior to a golf. That car and the other VW passat have a reputation for spoiling and aging quickly. Even when we are talking of german, not all german vehicles are top quality. Cutting cost has degraded quality. Only manufacturers who dont care too much abt costs like Daimler AG(merc) and the british Landrover-jaguar (range) have maintained quality.
