SMH I thought Toyotas were the most reliable cars on this planet, what now?

Engine mountings being made of rubber do wear out with age. Just like the bushes, tyres wear out. Or how the rubber soles of your shoes wear out. Hii ni kawaida maintenance. Shida kenyans never do preventive maintenance but wait until something fails.

My allion 1.5 inashake ikiwa at a standstill, both in parking and on gearIt also jerks a little ikiwa on low speed. Idling ikushuka below 0.9 rpm mostly. Nimechange spark plugs, nothing. Cleaning throttle and fuel pump, nothing. Idling ikiongezwa ikarudi tena back to around 0.7 rpm ikiwa parking.

Hii shida nmesumbuana nayo the whole of this week pia. Kwanza yangu nkiweka reverse inajerk moja ya nguvu na kuzima. Cleaned my throttle na fuel pump and replaced all the spark plugs but pia sijasaidika. Kama yako haizimi check the engine mountings. Could be moja ama mbili zimekatika hence the dance

Also muangalie coils. Labda zimeenda kwa baba. It is those long plastic/rubber “tubes” that you pull out ukitaka kutoa spark plugs. They supply current to the plugs. Zikiwa falty, gari itakuwa na misfire hence a rough idle

And another twist to this suppose the driver is the one shaking he should just confirm with the doctor his problem otherwise the car is fine

Have you disconnected battery terminals at any point? If yes, for how long? Toyotas usually require idling reset…I experienced the same, got YouTube tutorials e.g.
