Only start business if you intend to stay at the premises for the first six months…from dawn till dusk. If you are willing to put in the time, I suggest a fast food restaurant. I am planning to start one personally mid next year when I will be idle. You only need one big room in a location near residential areas to encourage take-outs instead of sit-in customers. There is a fast food restaurant in my neighbourhood and that guy is killing it. Just make sure you are in a densely populated area with a lot of working class people like kasarani, kahawa etc.

Yeah…health certificates and staff…dont bother about those first, they are cheap and depend on the location of the restaurant. The food industry sio kama matatu ama clinic, it is not regulated tightly.
was thinking of running a chemist but of course that’s not my specialty meaning that i have to get someone else to operate using his/her license.

Fire safety inspection pia na uwe na necessary fire fighting equipment on display mahali mtu yeyote anaweza kufikia. Food handlers certificate for anyone behind the counter hata iwe cashier. Na hiyo lazima ufanyiwe na KEMRI. Waste handling pia iwe on point.
