@Ngimanene na matharo fanya ile kitu
Does adopt mean grabbing or just giving her all in planting and safeguarding trees in the 200 acre space? Is she transferring title to her name or beneficiaries? I doubt she is, sensational headline that can be misinterpreted. If she finds purpose in Forest rehabilitation there’s no problem. More rain to Western Province.
Adopts is the new name for grabbing
Kenya Forest Service…Read about it’s functions. Feed your head.
You overthink some things, leaders work with current and emerging issues. Margaret Kenyatta championed for zero mortality in pregnant women or sth close because to her that’s where her heart was . What’s wrong when the first lady champions for aggressive tree planting as her pet project esp with current drought and climate challenges? Wacha kutumia kichwa kama store ya meno. She is not usurping any of KFS duties but mobilizing resources for KFS due to her status as first lady.
Not entirely true, opposition is there to make sure non of it happens and that’s why handshake shouldn’t be tolerated.
Sasa nimeamini degree ni muhimu.
Why is this issue being approached with negativity? This is someone in a self actualization stage of life. Nothing wrong there.

Not to mention this is November 2022 news, repackaged by Azimio/Githeri media to coincide with when Kenyans are most suspicious.
Unless ameacha, still something of interest
Kenyan media imetambua Ruto is a thug. Hongera kwao for exposing this KANU kleptomaniac.
Five years from now is when people will know why it’s important for the first lady to be involved in conservation and other social programs.

I thought the grabbed Mau forest was in more need of adoption and replanting than kakamega forest which is well conserved.
Why not adopt homeless children? This is interesting knowing that her husband has a high appetite for land

First Lady Mama Rachael Ruto on Tuesday adopted 200 acres of Kakamega forest for restoration.
Rachael said the move is towards the goal of growing 500 million trees.
“As part of the Office of the First Lady’s commitment to growing 500 million trees by 2032, I have adopted 200 acres of Kakamega forest for restoration,” she said.
Rachael said that the day is a reminder of the undeniable correlation between nature and health.
“The healthier our surroundings are, the merrier our well-being. Knowing this, we should make deliberate efforts to grow and protect our forest cover through sustainable forest practices,” Mama Rachael said.
The first lady said she is excited to work with individuals and groups with similar goals of planting trees, reducing carbon footprints, and supporting policies that encourage sustainable forest management.
