Good game but we have to await 5 games to see how far along the recovery is and what will it take to get the team to challenge for the top. I’m proud of our stadium fans, the backed the manager throughout especially the traveling fans. Jose name was loudly cheered throughout. Clearly the excessive stick he is getting is more than just for the two loses. Jose and Man Utd have been too successful for far too long at the expense of many over the years. The critics are waiting to offload the rants they have held back collectively for years on any slight hint of failure on both. We lost the last two games because of bad individual mistakes by 1-2-3 players but Jose was the target for those defeats. He gladly took it and shield the squad from excess pressure. He dropped the player not performing, picked others and its working. If Martial wants to play he has to be better than Sanchez who was immense today. Shaw is probably the best Man Utd player in the last 4 games, Jose tough love has forced him to fight to his best and most pundits/commentators/critics wouldn’t want to credit Jose for that. Today Jose benched Fred and played Fellaini. All Burney high balls to the box were dealt with. I don’t support the plane banner but it sums up our transfer failures. Jose was right we needed another centre back, Woodward should have come through on that.
