Budget Birthday Road Trip

Hey folks, hope you doing great.
I am requesting for ideas for my birthday road trip treat which is this coming Friday. The trip will done on budget, so financially, am a bit reserved. I intend to take an off from Thursday through till Monday. I am looking forward to a road trip, albeit, using public means to an adventurous place within Kenya. The duration is short to consider going outside the confines of our borders. Am looking for somewhere where I can have fun, swim and have great adventures or views! However, I have been to the coast plenty of times, so at the moment, that side is out of the question. I was considering doing

  1. Bogoria, Baringo, Eldy, then back to Nairobi
  2. Voi, Taveta, Mwatate, Lake Jipe and back
  3. Nairobi, Isiolo, Marsabit, Moyale and back
  4. Rusinga island
  5. Lake Naivasha, Hells gate, spa, Kongoni camp

Kindly offer me more suggestions or interesting places to visit on budget.
N/B: I will be traveling solo.

Road trip using public means? Is that a road trip ama just pure torture kwanza na hii sola!

Good luck with your adventures but travelling solo is no fun at all.

Just go to Arusha. About 4 hours away. Have a different change of scene and enjoy Kiswahili mufti.

Fuata hiyo route ya vuja de. Back packing is also enjoyable. Sio lazima ukue na gari ndio ujibambe.

Ok, it works like this. Lets say I choose Kisumu. I will fly there, hire a car there, have fun return the car and fly back.
