College years, my attachment was due. One of my many Neighbors was Head of training in this Multinational company, and was in charge of things attachment.
So, am all grown, am in college for heavens sake, I went to see him, to express my interest and to let him know that I had applied, I also carried a copy of the application just in case.
I put my case forward, and the only thing he said was okay.
Two days later, my Old man ask me if I had talked with Baba XYZ, and am like yeah, I thought it was something positive coming up. Lakini wapi.
Baba XYZ, had expressed displeasure to my Dad, at mambo kama hiyo ni sisi wazizi tunafaa ku discuss.
That left me scratching my head, and wondering, what kind of fcuked up pple were out there.
What BS did u go thru as a young Adult?
Niliambiwa lazima nikue daktari
That man thought you were still a teen. He must have had a queer ego.
halafu?
@0%_Omera i normally host five to 8 interns every three months and i actually discourage parents from coming to ask for their sons/daughters…i feel students should be allowed to navigate their way through life as part of their growing up…
Same here, ukiletwa na mzazi hakuna job.
I’m still a young adult nikiwa old afult nitasimulia.
At 22 you think you are an adult but someone out there thinks hujamea fudhi.
Ndo maana unakuaga na utoto mingi
Spot on
Reminds me when I was applying for my ID. Dad told me though he knew a guy or two who would make things work in a flash, I was on my own. Made a number of trips between Ganjoni and Mvita till I got the damn thing. It was an important lesson, and one that has served me well
After finishing high school I was forcibly told to go to a certain college to apply for a certain course and since my father happened to know one of the teachers there I was supposed to go with my mum to meet him so that I would be admitted to the institution.
So what did we do? We headed to the registry presented the required documents got a letter of admission almost immediately and told to report on the opening day.We looked for that teacher we didn’t find find but since I was already admitted we thought it was ok.
Kwenda nyumbani gave my father the letter that I got admitted without the help of his friend,he threw a major fit.
Unajiuliza I thought I’m all grown up and don’t need assistance always because I fell embarrased as I was the only one running around the place with my mum.
hehehehe I like your honesty, seems your upbringing wasn’t too good
Well mine is I don’t have enough money to go for masaku in two days time  @Mrs4thletter nipatie advance
the other thing is I struggle with laziness, for about one year now my motivation went really down even money doesn’t stimulate it, sobs
If someone can help, let them help. It is upon those who are helped not to rest on their laurels just because someone helped them along the way. Ushikwapo, shikamana.
hata mimi ID old man insisted that I go alone so that I get to experience what it is like to deal with bureaucracy and hard-headed civil servants directly. Nilijionea moto
It is bad when you have uncles and aunties who constantly meddle in your life immediately after high school.
No wonder the shower issues
