the urithi sacco ones are managed by the sacco themselves… They rent at 7k -8k. I’m considering buying one at 650k from someone who desperately needs the cash. It will pay itself back in 10 years and its value by then will be way more once the road has been tarmacked
Factor in inflation as well. 650k is not bad price though.
Do you pay any management fee? Do they manage for free? Who do you potentially sell to after ten years? Will Urithi Sacco be available to manage it in ten years? What alternative investments will bring more or equal value in ten years’ time? These are fundamental questions to be asked. If the answers favour the investment, then go ahead and buy. If not, look for alternatives.
will increase the price slowly. Will do some value addition to make the finishes better therfore charge more - 9k max.
Hi All ,
Anyone with info about this Studio are they existing and are they legit
First things first. Are they in the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) list of licenced saccos in Kenya? https://www.sasra.go.ke
Lazima kila mtu akue landlord. Ata kama ni bedsitter.

Very legit, I visited them in Murang’a but the phase 1 is fully sold, they are now on Phase 2. You can inspect the place. I have some photos in my other phone, I will look for them and post for you. Broad Borders is far more efficient than Urithi if I compare the two Saccos. I can give you numbers of the Chairman of Broad Borders who I spoke to, and the Marketing Manager of Urithi Sacco (or a sales guy from Urithi) for you to make your choice. But I have given you my opinion as regards processing of documents - as I have heard some testimonies from some of their clients who are my friends.
The guys who formed Broad Borders worked in Urithi earlier so I believe they have plugged in some of the holes they noted while working for Urithi.
