@Gio I think you’ll love this. I’ve had this on my ‘Watch Later’ list for a couple of days now so there’s a chance you already watched it.

This guy created his own iPhone earlier by buying the parts in Shenzen

Hahaha watched it some time back, but like his persistence in the face of disappointments and frustrations. Hardware is haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard and expensive bila jokes.

This guy knows his stuff. He had to design and print his own circuit board for this to work.

What surprised me is how easy he made it look. Just design it and get it printed like it’s no big deal. And the guys he visited to get advise/direction… man those are the real phone gurus. Hawa wa mafundi wa Kenya ni tinkerers wa trial and error.

watch his video on how he made an iphone, hapa at least anajua vitu, in that first video he was totally clueless, those chinku guys taught him a lot

I have watched the video and am left with one question …are the parts used in making the said iphone genuine apple parts ama ni zile tu za shaina?
Unawasha simu inajiandika “ipone”

True…He made it look like something any average joe can do but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Hapa kenya my phone had bricked and required opening up the the motherboard and shorting some circuit points in order to flash a system img. The guys at avechi service center failed flat and i had to do the dirty work myself on a device that was under warranty.

Genuine parts buda

My friend’s LG bricked too and he had to open it up after the guys at LG center were defeated

I watched that too.
