Bribing One's way through the Justice System

So, a character who goes by the name Mr. X, is to be arrested this Friday, after investigators found out He had Embezzled ksh100 millions.
His case takes five years to be concluded, of which he is jailed for 2 years.
My question is, after 7 years, how much will Mr. X, have used, in making sure that his case drags for 5 years, and that he gets to do 2 years of jail time. Not forgetting money for securing comfort while in prison ?

Mr GAA Sir, mafikirio ya hiyo mambo itatusaidia na nini?

Yeye ndio mr. x

Money talks

Bullshit walks

Nothing much Mwarimu, it’s the notion we are used to, that the case took too long and the jail term was short.
Being dragged through the Justice System, in itself is draining, and if you have to bribe, which means having people on your back for 5 years is torturous.

For five year he may have been working saving for the 2 years he will inevitably have to spend in jail, when he comes out of jail he will simply continue from where he left. Fortunately for Mr. X the prosecutor will sooner or later get bored with the case for dragging too long in court and miss a couple of hearing due to an engagement on a more interesting case at which point the advocates of Mr. X will request the judge to dismiss the case and Mr. X will be a free man.

Once you get fired from that government job, in most cases, your businesses start heading south, as the cash flow stops.
Now you have 5 years ahead of you, which you are expected to bribe through, plus another 2 year in prison, which you have to pave for your comfort.
By the 7th year, wewe na church mouse hakuna tofauti.
Keep in mind also, if I stole 100 million in a span of 10 years. It doesn’t mean that by the time of my arrest, I will be having that money.

Your question is too theoretical. By the time you are being arrested, they have calculated how much you have in properties and cash. So they know what they will take. Nobody ever spends reasonable time in jail if he has the finances.
